Senior Systems Administrator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Identity Management Engineer to support the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise identity management systems.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Microsoft identity management technologies, Active Directory, SQL databases, and cloud-based identity solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with system patching, application upgrades, configuration management, service restoration, and maintaining data integrity across integrated systems.

What will you do?

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft identity management systems and associated infrastructure.
• Perform operating system and database patching and routine maintenance.
• Conduct application patching, upgrades, and configuration changes to maintain system functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues and restore services when disruptions occur.
• Maintain data integrity and manage data flows across identity management systems and integrated applications.
• Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Write and execute SQL queries to support database operations, troubleshooting, and data management.
• Perform SQL database patching, maintenance, and operational support.
• Troubleshoot SQL-related issues and restore database services as needed.
• Support identity management platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), PowerSyncPro, SailPoint, or Saviynt.
• Work with modern cloud technologies and infrastructure, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.
• Implement and maintain system configuration changes to support operational requirements.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues affecting identity management applications, databases, and infrastructure.
• Support the reliable operation of identity management systems by maintaining system availability, data accuracy, and integration functionality.

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BS degree and 11-15 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft identity management technologies.
• Experience performing operating system and database patching and maintenance.
• Experience with application patching, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Experience implementing and managing system and application configuration changes.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and restoring systems and services.
• Experience maintaining data integrity and managing data flows between systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Experience writing SQL queries.
• Experience performing SQL database patching and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and restoring SQL services.
• Experience with one or more of the following identity management technologies:
  
  • Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)
  • PowerSyncPro
  • SailPoint
  • Saviynt
• Experience with modern cloud technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with the Sponsor's environment.
