Delivery Driver

**TS/SCI CLEARANCE w/POLYGRAPH REQUIRED**

Must be willing/able to commute to and from Springfield, VA

Delivery Driver/Logistics:

• Must be willing and able to load and unload trucks at times. You must have a valid driver's license. Should larger vehicles requiring CDL licensing be required, Leidos will provide CCT with a minimum 15 days' notice to arrange. Make safe, efficient and timely pick-ups and/or delivery transport to customer locations in order to contribute to the achievement of operational objectives. Maintain complete and accurate vehicle utilization logs, as required, in order to fully comply with all state and federal requirements. Maintain vehicle and adhere to prescribed maintenance schedule. This includes but is not limited to, general (daily) maintenance check of vehicle to assure that it has correct tire pressure, sufficient gasoline, oil, grease, battery liquid and other fluids necessary to operate without operation as well as inspecting vehicle for exterior and interior damage at the beginning of each day. Complete all necessary receiving and delivery reports in a timely manner to ensure proper record keeping procedures. Maintain satisfactory driving record as required by company guidelines, state and/or federal regulations.
• Promote and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customer through efficient communication. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Provide recommendations to improve business processes and knowledge to implement new processes.
• Fabrication of shipping labels, ensuring proper format and shipping address accuracy.
• Coordinate special shipping requirements as necessary. Document and maintain accurate shipping activity files. Provide daily shipping and billing summaries to program administration.
• Perform periodic inventory of shipping material to ensure adequate quantities on hand.
• Perform applicable data entry to the existing CDLS automated Logistics Database.
• Perform preliminary package inspection for any apparent external damage and notify shipper at time of delivery if damage is detected. Verify and note received packages for shipment type (Purchase Order or Field parts returned for repair. For Purchase Order items, verify the Purchase Order document to the part actually received and then notify ordering individual of the received parts. Update and maintain the department receiving files. Maintain the warehouse physical organization and cleanliness. Support periodic warehouse inventory activities. Interface with management to resolve any problems or discrepancies that may arise with orders. Develop a level of expertise via cross training of coworker functions to fill in for position absences. Must have the physical ability to lift forty pounds. Provide recommendations to improve business processes and knowledge to implement new processes.
• Perform scheduling, planning, tracking, shipping and dispositioning of those assets to include the following:
• Fabrication of shipping labels, ensuring proper format and shipping address accuracy.

• Perform warehouse logistician duties, such as receiving stock, stocking shelves, pulling stock for next day deliveries.
• Deliveries are not Dock to Dock, you will be expected to deliver to the end user in buildings throughout the WMA.
• Active DOT card within the last 12 months or willing to get prior to interview

Required Skills

• Requires a B.S. or equivalent experience or 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Active security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

The salary range for this role is $95,000. This range is a good faith estimate that reflects various experience levels.
