Senior Logistics Sustainment and Technical Data Specialist

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Logistics Sustainment and Technical Data Specialist to join our team in Lakehurst, NJ. This position is onsite. This is a part-time position.

The Senior Logistics Sustainment and Technical Data Specialist will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Department, Fleet Support Team (FST), providing Fleet Sustainment and Technical Data Management for Technical Manuals (TMs)/Integrated Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) as well as supply chain expertise for the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) programs. This role supports ship configuration management, lifecycle logistics, and technical data management to ensure fleet readiness.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing government original equipment manufacturers (OEM) IETMs / TM workflows from conception to final delivery and to sustainment phase.
• Develop, edit and review EMALS/AAG IETM/TM to ensure all requested updates have been made and recommend approval when completed.
• Analyze Technical Feedback Reports, ECPs and Fleet issues and develop Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs) and track to resolution.
• Assist in developing Sustainment Contract and Statement of Work (SOW) to ensure support to the EMALS/AAG Fleet Support Team.
• Attend all assigned EMALS, AAG, and ALRE meetings as a logistics technical data management subject matter expert to communicate requirements across the military and government chain of command.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 10+ years logistics support for entire life cycle related to DoD systems; an additional 5+ years of relevant DOD logistics support for entire life cycle related to DOD systems experience in lieu of degree
• Experience supporting a Fleet Support Team/Integrated Product Team to include engineers, logistics and technical data teams to support fleet operations and readiness.
• Experience creating, editing, reviewing and approving IETMs/TMs to include government or original equipment manufacture for complex ACT 1 Systems throughout the workflow to final IETM delivery
• Experience with Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs).
• Experience with Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCRs) for logistics support and sustainment efforts.
• Experience with working across cross-functional teams to communicate lifecycle data and track logistics requirements for complex systems.
• Experience reviewing Technical Feedback Reports, ECPs, and TPDRs for IETM / TM updates.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Technical Data Management to include IETM and TM for ACT 1 systems. ALRE, Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) systems are highly desired.
• Working knowledge and experience supporting the lifecycle sustainment strategy to include the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) for complex systems. ACT 1 Systems and ALRE Preferred.
• Experience supporting Sustainment contracts for Maintenance and Fleet Support Teams.
• Experience working with Depot, Intermediate and Organizational level maintenance activities.
• Experience working as a lead or member of a Sustainment and FST integrated product team for ACT 1 systems. EMALS and AAG preferred.
• Experience with Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) programs or Navy logistics automation tools.
• Experience attending Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events from a logistics and program level view to include IETM/TM requirements.
• Experience using Navy/NAVAIR approved IETM/TM development tools, standard operational procedures and standard work packages.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and possess current or active Secret Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office and physically navigate aircraft carriers, flight decks, compartments, and stairwells.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, verbal or email correspondences.
