Job Description
Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey-before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.

As a Project - Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Operations Transformation team, you will:
The Project Senior Consultant provides direct support to the Air Force A4SF Directorate, advancing enterprise-level training policy, workforce development, and operational planning across the Security Forces career field. This role delivers strategic analysis, facilitates governance processes, and drives the development and refinement of officer and enlisted training pathways. The consultant partners with senior client leadership, functional experts, and cross-directorate stakeholders to resolve complex issues, strengthen readiness, and ensure alignment with evolving operational requirements and Air Force priorities.
o Analyze impacts of emerging requirements on training pipelines and recommend policy adjustments.
o Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to diagnose workforce, training, and operational challenges.
o Provide daily operational support to the Training Branch, ensuring timely issue resolution and continuity of operations.
o Coordinate and facilitate governance activities across oversight bodies.
o Track decisions, align stakeholders, and develop materials (executive summaries, roadmaps, POAMs) to support informed decision-making.
o Support the design and refinement of development pathways, including training standards, competencies, and career-spanning learning models.
o Collaborate with career field leadership to address alignment issues between officer and enlisted roles and training requirements.
o Lead and support high-visibility special projects directed by the clients leadership, including modernization efforts, program evaluation, and long-range planning.
o Develop recommendations that advance mission readiness, streamline processes, and improve the training continuum.
o Prepare and brief senior leaders on training initiatives, findings, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Secret clearance
- Must have professional experience in with: Microsoft Office 365, Training Design, and Policy Development
- Ability to work on site with the client 50-80%
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience drafting, editing, and proofreading briefings, reports, and presentations
- Understanding of the federal defense sector
