About This Role
We're seeking a Systems Administrator SME with deep expertise in Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) to support ongoing operations and maintenance of the Sponsor's identity management environment. You'll keep synchronization healthy across the MIM Synchronization Service, Metaverse, connector spaces, management agents, and MIM Portal, and you'll serve as the Tier 2-3 escalation point for synchronization failures and user access issues. The Sponsor is preparing to modernize its identity and access management (IAM) landscape and transition to a next-generation platform, so we're looking for someone who takes a proactive approach to access governance and data integrity. This position requires an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph completed within the past six years.
Compensation
$200,000 - $280,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Administer, operate, and maintain the Sponsor's MIM environment, including the Synchronization Service, Metaverse, connector spaces, management agents, MIM Portal, and sync rules
Configure, implement, and maintain MIMWAL workflows
Serve as the Tier 2-3 escalation point for synchronization failures and user access issues from the service desk, driving each issue to root cause and resolution
Perform routine OS patching and system upgrades, along with database and application patching, across the identity infrastructure
Audit, reconcile, and clean identity data across disparate data tables to maintain data integrity, consistency, and flow
Validate identity data in Microsoft SQL Server and write SQL queries to support troubleshooting and reconciliation
Automate recurring administrative tasks with PowerShell
Read, debug, and occasionally modify C# and .NET rule extensions
Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and drive proactive access governance
Maintain and troubleshoot supporting Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, and Group Policy
Support the Sponsor's planning for IAM modernization and the transition to a next-generation identity platform
Help investigate and resolve critical infrastructure issues spanning MIM and Microsoft Exchange
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph completed within the past six years
Demonstrated experience with MIM architecture and operations, including the MIM Synchronization Service, Metaverse design, connector spaces, management agents (MAs), MIM Portal, and sync rules
Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Microsoft Identity Manager Workflow Activity Library (MIMWAL)
Demonstrated experience in Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, and Group Policy
Demonstrated experience providing Tier 2-3 support to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve synchronization failures and user access issues escalated from the service desk
Demonstrated experience performing routine OS patches and system upgrades
Demonstrated experience performing database and application patching
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server for data validation
Demonstrated hands-on experience scripting SQL queries
Demonstrated hands-on experience using PowerShell
Demonstrated experience with C# and the .NET Framework to read, debug, and occasionally modify rule extensions
Demonstrated experience auditing, syncing, and cleaning identity data across disparate data tables to maintain data integrity, consistency, and flow
Demonstrated experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE), with deep familiarity with the Windows OS framework
Familiarity with identity management tools such as Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), SailPoint, Dell One Identity, PowerSyncPro, or Saviynt
Demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats while investigating and resolving critical infrastructure issues across MIM and Microsoft Exchange
Demonstrated experience with SQL, including advanced querying, optimization, and building databases
Prior experience supporting the Sponsor
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
