Deputy Contract Manager
Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) – Security Administrative Services

Agency: U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP)
Position Type: Full-Time / On-Site Contract Management

Place of Performance: The overall contract is performed at two BEP high-security facilities:
• Eastern Currency Facility (ECF): 301 14th Street SW, Washington, DC 20228
• Western Currency Facility (WCF): 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX 76131

Schedule / Availability: Be available within 30 minutes during normal duty hours to meet with Government personnel. Be available within 2 hours after normal duty hours when serving as the Manager's alternate. Support onsite supervision and ensure an authorized onsite manager/supervisor is present during every shift.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of administrative and customer-service experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the administrative or security field.
• Intermediate-level computer skills.
• Ability to work with multiple worksheets, filter data, and use integrated functions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to successfully complete BEP-required training.
• US Citizen

Strong computer aptitude and ability to learn:
• GSA USAccess
• Identiv Velocity
• EasyLobby Visitor Management
• Other security/badging systems.
Security Requirement: Must be eligible for and successfully obtain a T4 High Risk Public Trust favorable background determination. Certain assignments may additionally require an appropriate personnel security clearance, up to Secret, as designated by BEP. The contractor itself must maintain the required Secret FCL.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Deputy Contract Manager will:
• Assist the Contract Manager with all aspects of daily contract performance.
• Serve as the Contract Manager's alternate and exercise full authority to act for the Contractor on daily operational matters when required.
• Supervise contract personnel and ensure continuous staffing coverage.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, employee assignments, and operational coverage.
• Address personnel or operational issues affecting performance.
• Meet with Government personnel regarding performance concerns and corrective actions.
• Ensure personnel comply with BEP security and facility-access requirements.
• Support quality-control activities and resolution of deficiencies.
• Monitor employee training and qualifications.
• Support operations involving badging/PIV credentialing, access control, visitor processing, administrative security support, and WCF mail-screening/currency-destruction activities.
• Ensure an authorized onsite supervisor is present when neither Key Person is physically onsite.
• Assume Contract Manager responsibilities as necessary to maintain uninterrupted management coverage.
