This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal building performance. You will inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipment, conduct repairs, and support building automation and safety systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems per specifications and manuals.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on air & water distribution systems, chillers, pumps, boilers, and fire safety systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests related to HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general repairs.
- Assist with re-lamping, equipment cleaning, and mechanical adjustments.
- Support building automation and energy management systems, staying updated through manuals or training.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical spaces, roofs, and building grounds.
- Engage in emergency response, troubleshooting, and repairs with appropriate communication and safety measures.
- Maintain cleanliness of mechanical and electrical rooms following standard procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and client representatives regarding work status and system condition.
- Use hand and power tools safely, and work at heights using ladders and scaffolding as needed.
Top Requirements:
- Technical degree in HVAC or related experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Universal CFC Certification
- Knowledge of HVAC codes and safety regulations
