Position Title : Media Operations Analyst
Location : MacDill AFB, FL.
Clearance required : TS/SCI required at time of award for standers assigned to the Joint Operations Center; Secret with TS/SCI eligibility for Media Operations Desk analysts.
Scope of Work: Provides 24/7 strategic media operations support to CCPA, rotating between Joint Operations Center watch-stander duties and Media Operations Desk engagement to deliver real-time media monitoring and proactive media engagement.

Scope of Work: Provides 24/7 strategic media operations support to CCPA, rotating between Joint Operations Center watch-stander duties and Media Operations Desk engagement to deliver real-time media monitoring and proactive media engagement.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Draft, research, and coordinate responses to media inquiries and develop press releases, talking points, and response-to-query products aligned with CENTCOM messaging.
- Conduct real-time monitoring and analysis of global media coverage and identify and assess breaking news affecting CENTCOM.
- Provide rapid-response media analysis and recommended talking points to counter misinformation and disinformation.
- Develop and disseminate Flash Reports within 60 minutes of a significant crisis, attack, or major news story.
- Prepare senior leaders for media engagements and conduct media training and embed coordination.
- Deliver daily media monitoring reports and news clips before 0800 EST and support 24/7 surge operations.
Qualifications
- TS/SCI at time of award for JOC watch standers; Secret with TS/SCI eligibility for Media Operations Desk analysts
- U.S. citizenship; fluent English
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in public affairs, public relations, or corporate communications, or a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
- Proficiency crafting press releases, talking points, and other media products; familiarity with AP Style, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint
- Ability to work under pressure and interact confidently with senior military and civilian leadership
- Preferred: military public affairs experience; a Master's degree for at least one analyst on the team
