Job Description
Position Title : Website Designer
Location : MacDill AFB, FL
Clearance required : SECRET clearance minimum, with eligibility for TS/SCI
Scope of Work: Maintains the usability, performance, and security of the public-facing CENTCOM website (www.centcom.mil), collaborating with the Social Media Manager, Multimedia Content Creator, and J6 Directorate.

Scope of Work: Maintains the usability, performance, and security of the public-facing CENTCOM website (www.centcom.mil), collaborating with the Social Media Manager, Multimedia Content Creator, and J6 Directorate.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage day-to-day website operations, ensuring content is current, organized, and accessible, and create pages and CMS templates.
- Develop responsive design mockups and user-friendly UI elements aligned with CENTCOM branding.
- Verify cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and maintain DoW and CENTCOM security compliance in coordination with J6.
- Collaborate with social media and multimedia teams to ensure seamless content integration.
- Test functionality regularly and recommend performance and user-experience improvements.
- Provide 24/7 support for urgent website issues, troubleshooting during off-hours as required.
Qualifications
- Secret clearance at time of award, with eligibility for TS/SCI
- U.S. citizenship; fluent English
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in website design and maintenance
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CMS platforms
Preferred certifications:
- Adobe Certified Expert, Microsoft SharePoint, Google Analytics, Certified Usability Analyst
