Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the information broker role to work in our San Antonio, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex systems. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite. 

Primary Tasks:

• Leads, manages, and supervises a team of 12 personnel supporting all Air Force Defensive Cyber development efforts for the Program Office’s Material Leader.
• Collaborate with software and system engineers to design and implement infrastructure solutions for development and testing.
• Act as a crucial bridge between end-users (like the warfighter) and the development and integration of new cyber systems and technologies, ensuring that solutions meet user needs and operational requirements. 
• Key responsibilities include providing user feedback, conducting research and analysis, developing and implementing software/hardware capabilities, and Coordinating with various teams to ensure successful implementation and compliance with security standards.
• Create policy and documentation that guide the development and engineering efforts of all teams within the Customer’s space. 
• Maintain documentation for contract delivery of the team’s contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with functional teams (training, test, software development, configuration management) to maintain smooth development operations.
• Capture meeting notes for distribution to attendees for concurrence on actions, subject conversation, and task assignment.
• Maintain end-to-end visibility of each requirement through the workflow, from intake to final disposition, ensuring timely updates and decision entry within Jira.
• Ensure customer roadmaps and schedules are developed and maintained for 
• Collaborate with industry partners, Government personnel, and technical teams to ensure accurate categorization, prioritization, and alignment of requirements with organizational capabilities.
• Identify trends or recurring needs to inform Customer leadership on process improvement opportunities.
• Monitor, triage, and track incoming taskings or action items requiring group response, assign to appropriate resources and ensure timely closure
• Compile, edit, format, and submit weekly highlights
• Serve as subject matters expert on Agile methodologies
• Provides guidance and leadership to a team of contractors that plans, coordinates, and reviews future cyberspace operations plans, aligning personnel with headquarters requirements.
• Apply strategic directions to Systems Analysis, reviewing and aligning policy, engineering documentation, network designs, cyberspace capabilities, and vulnerabilities to objectives.
• Advise leadership on defensive cyber security strategies, leveraging expertise in defensive cyber operations and threat-hunt operations.
• Teach, train and mentor other team members through various development methods and strategies.
• Provide technical expertise in Elastic SIEM, protocol analyzers (Zeek, Suricata, Arkime), Kibana, and platform architecture.
• Collaborate with team leads and personnel to identify and resolve issues, conduct tabletop exercises, and prioritize specific vulnerabilities.
• Manage risk mitigation strategies, identifying vulnerabilities to cyberspace capabilities and developing comprehensive plans.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 12+ years of professional experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.  Specialized Cybersecurity Operations experience in the DoD and additional education will be considered in lieu of a full 12 years of experience.
• Proficient understanding of the Cybersecurity Framework in regards to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover within the Cyber Security Service Provider construct.
• Extensive experience in cyberspace operations planning, offensive security, and network engineering.
• Proven leadership skills in managing teams and coordinating complex cyber operations.
• In-depth knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, and Cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint for process optimization.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance within 90 days.  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with defensive cyber 
• Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or Cyber Command
• Deep understanding of Department of Defense knowledge management policies and procedures
• Demonstrated experience transforming knowledge management within a complex defense or commercial systems program

Pay Range: Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
