The selected candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and helping RiVidium achieve sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term profitability. The CFO will see the larger picture, connect financial strategy to business objectives, and work closely with executive leadership to support corporate growth, acquisitions, contract execution, and managed services initiatives.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. The CFO will oversee all financial functions of the organization, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, government contracting compliance, financial reporting, audit, taxation, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reporting.
• Lead financial modeling, scenario analysis, profitability analysis, and performance reporting to support corporate decision-making and growth initiatives.
• Oversee government contract accounting and compliance, including FAR, CAS, DCAA requirements, indirect rates, provisional billing rates, ICE submissions, and cost-plus contracts.
• Oversee contract pricing, cost proposals, labor rates, indirect rates, cost estimates, and financial analysis for new and existing contracts.
• Monitor contract profitability, revenue, backlog, labor utilization, indirect costs, and overall financial performance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and corporate liquidity.
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll coordination, treasury, and tax activities.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, and financial processes in accordance with US GAAP and FASB.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local financial and tax requirements.
• Provide financial guidance for corporate proposals, acquisitions, investments, capital planning, and other strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Contracts, Business Development, HR, and Program Management to align financial objectives with business operations.
• Identify financial and operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Lead the development and implementation of financial systems, automation, reporting tools, and scalable processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting organization.
• Maintain effective relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisors, government stakeholders, and other external partners.
• Perform other duties and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CEO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• CPA certification.
• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably within the federal government contracting industry.
• Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or senior financial executive in a government contracting organization.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, FASB, FAR, CAS, DCAA requirements, and government contract accounting.
• Experience with cost-plus, time-and-materials, and fixed-price contracts.
• Strong experience with indirect rate development, provisional billing rates, ICE submissions, cost allocations, and DCAA audits.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash-flow management, and strategic financial planning.
• Experience overseeing audits, tax activities, banking relationships, and financial advisors.
• Proven ability to establish internal controls and scalable financial processes.
• Experience leading, developing, and managing finance and accounting teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, employees, customers, auditors, and government stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with financial management systems, accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DCAA, DCMA, GSA reporting, and federal contract compliance.
• Experience supporting a growing small-to-mid-sized federal government contractor.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, or private-equity-backed organizations.
• Experience implementing or upgrading ERP, accounting, and financial reporting systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $190,000-$200,000.

The listed salary range represents a general guideline; however, RiVidium Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. At RiVidium Inc. it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
