Seeking a Systems Engineer-IT to support IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, virtualization, and automation efforts within a classified environment. This role will support both Windows and Linux environments, maintain critical infrastructure, automate administration tasks, and ensure secure, reliable operations across development and operational systems.

Seeking a Systems Engineer-IT to support IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, virtualization, and automation efforts within a classified environment. This role will support both Windows and Linux environments, maintain critical infrastructure, automate administration tasks, and ensure secure, reliable operations across development and operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments
- Support virtualization platforms including OpenStack, VMware, and Hyper-V
- Automate system administration, deployment, and maintenance activities using scripting and automation tools
- Perform system patching, security hardening, and configuration management
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access
- Support network infrastructure and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Design and implement new infrastructure capabilities
- Maintain system uptime, performance, and operational readiness
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams supporting mission-critical programs
Must Have
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI
- Active DoD 8570 Certification (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- 3+ years of IT Administration experience
- Experience supporting Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022
- Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Experience with IT security hardening and compliance
- Experience managing virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Hyper-V)
- Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
