Job Description
The Warehouse Laborer is responsible for performing general warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, staging, and inventory handling. The position also supports technical teams by assisting with network equipment rack-and-stack activities.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and staging.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and documentation.
• Update inventory trackers and logs to ensure accurate and timely inventory records.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as material sorting, pallet building, and warehouse organization.
• Assist technical teams with network equipment rack and stacking, including handling, staging, and positioning of servers, switches, racks, and related components.
• Follow all company safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification (sit-down or stand-up, depending on facility).
• 1+ year experience in warehouse or material handling operations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Basic computer, scanner, or inventory management system experience preferred.
• Familiarity with handling IT/network equipment is a plus.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment:
• Warehouse setting with variable temperatures.
• Standing, lifting, bending, and equipment operation required for majority of shift.
• Periodic work in staging or technical areas where IT equipment is prepared.
Additional Requirements:
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (if applicable).
• Overtime or weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
