Position Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Durham, NC

Shift: 1st Shift - Mon to Fri 9:00am to 5:00 pm
Employment: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as an HVAC Technician in Durham, NC, where you'll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems in a fast-paced environment. This contract-to-hire position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise on a variety of equipment, including chillers, air handling units, heat pumps, VAVs, DDC controls, and ventilation systems. Responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance, analyzing system data, and ensuring all HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely. You will also assist with system evaluations, maintain comprehensive logs, and support the overall safety standards. This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Top Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical certificate or state-approved HVAC license
- Experience working on industrial and commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers and chilled water systems
- Valid driver's license and EPA Universal Refrigeration License
