Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work will be vital to maintaining high operational standards. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians seeking a stable, contract-to-hire position with competitive pay and a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and timely repairs on facility equipment, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and process machinery.
- Conduct shift rounds, document performance metrics, and communicate findings to operational leadership.
- Complete work orders accurately within the CMMS and ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts, with proper certification.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with site leadership to understand work requests and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, and rebuild equipment as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing facility safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Top Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent; extensive mechanical experience (2+ years) including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Valid driver's license, forklift operator's license, and JLG operator's license preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including ladder and lift work.
- Strong communication skills and a safety-oriented mindset.
- Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance procedures.
