Job Description
MTSI is seeking to hire a Software Engineer (DevSecOps) with a strong background in secure cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes operations, and policy-as-code enforcement. This senior role supports mission-critical defense programs and requires deep technical expertise, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in high-assurance environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate Azure Government (IL5) and Azure Secret (IL6) environments
- Architect secure Kubernetes platforms using FluxCD, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps methodologies
- Build and maintain Terraform configurations for Azure, GitLab, Artifactory, and developer platforms
- Deploy and administer Coder Enterprise v2 for secure cloud-based development
- Develop hardened container images and Helm releases for regulated workloads
- Implement policy-as-code using OPA, Rego, Gatekeeper, and advanced validation pipelines
- Engineer air-gapped deployment workflows and secure artifact transfer mechanisms
- Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance, security, and platform reliability
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level clearance
- US citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM field.
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or secure cloud/platform engineering
- Security+ certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Masters degree
- active Secret or TS level clearance
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or intelligence community systems
