The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, simulation, and modeling, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions for complex defense and aerospace systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software simulations for complex systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation capabilities into larger systems.
- Perform detailed analysis and testing to ensure simulation accuracy and performance.
- Optimize simulation performance and scalability.
- Document simulation design, implementation, and test results.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing simulation systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in software simulation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on simulation and modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Experience with simulation frameworks and tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Security clearance required (TS/SCI preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with defense or aerospace systems.
- Knowledge of real-time simulation and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
