This role is critical to delivering high-quality, hands-on cyber training to our clients, ensuring they are well-prepared to address real-world cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on cyber technical training courses for various client audiences, including military, government, and commercial sectors.
- Create comprehensive training materials, labs, and exercises that align with current cyber threats and best practices.
- Utilize state-of-the-art cyber ranges and tools to provide realistic, immersive training experiences.
- Assess trainee progress through practical exercises, quizzes, and other evaluation methods.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and training developers to continuously improve course content and delivery.
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry standards to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for training environments and tools.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and technical knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including network security, penetration testing, digital forensics, and/or security operations.
- Demonstrated experience teaching or instructing technical subjects, preferably in a cybersecurity context.
- Strong understanding of cyber ranges, virtual environments, and associated tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Security clearance: Must possess or be eligible for a Secret clearance.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer and other training equipment, and travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar cybersecurity credentials.
- Experience with specific cyber tools and platforms (e.g., Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, Splunk).
- Familiarity with DoD cyber training standards and requirements.
- Previous experience working in a government or defense contracting environment.
