Job Title: (HR) Generalist

Key Responsibilities:
1. New Hire Onboarding Coordination
- Support the administrative onboarding process after offer acceptance
- Send onboarding communications and schedule Day 1 HR sessions
- Coordinate collection of required new hire documents (SSN, DOB, address, work location)
- Prepare and distribute onboarding announcements
- Follow up on work state setup in UKG as needed
- Draft offer letters from approved templates, confirm internal review, and send via DocuSign
- Communicate benefits and other details, ensuring start and benefits dates accuracy
- Update candidate-facing communication language as appropriate
- Initiate background checks using Checkr and monitor completion
- Download, save, and file completed background reports appropriately
- Create employee folders and maintain digital documentation (offer letters, resumes, job descriptions, etc.)
- Assign employee ID numbers and organize documentation for Finance
- Complete HR actions in UKG: employee data, job titles, department, pay details, etc.
- Ensure data accuracy and records submission
- Review and verify employment eligibility using UKG and E-Verify
- Save and organize I-9s and E-Verify results
- Prepare, update, and distribute monthly reports (Planful and other required reports)
- Maintain reporting cadence and coordinate with Finance contacts
- Support the offboarding process, including notifications, document transfers, UKG termination actions, and asset coordination
- Support with administration and tracking of required compliance trainings (e.g., KnowBe4) and completion follow-up
- Provide support for G-P activities: enter one-time payroll items and coordinate as needed
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Experienced with confidential employee information
- Skilled with HRIS administration, preferably UKG
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
