Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications supporting large-scale distributed computing clusters.
• Support mission-critical systems across the full software development lifecycle within Linux and AWS environments.
• Utilize containerized architectures, modern CI/CD pipelines, and high-performance data technologies including Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, and MongoDB.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $267k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain Java-based applications within large-scale distributed computing environments.
• Participate in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through deployment and sustainment.
• Integrate and extend commercial (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) software technologies.
• Build and deploy containerized services and microservices using modern CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Perform code reviews, architectural evaluations, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Support operational systems, troubleshoot complex defects, and assist with Tier III on-call engineering support.
• Develop and maintain software components using languages including Java, C/C++, Python, and Bash on Linux platforms.
• Interface with distributed datastores and messaging technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, ActiveMQ, and MongoDB.
