Summary:
• Provide comprehensive operational software application support and systems engineering within enterprise Linux environments.
• Manage, monitor, and optimize high-availability services utilizing Apache NiFi, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Docker, and AWS EC2.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and application errors to maintain optimal system performance and uptime.
• Maintain detailed operational documentation and track issue resolution utilizing Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 10+ years
• Total Compensation: $252k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Deliver tier application and operational support, ensuring maximum stability, uptime, and performance for critical software systems.
• Start, stop, configure, and diagnose operational services running in Linux command-line environments.
• Perform proactive system health checks, database status monitoring, and application performance evaluation.
• Evaluate error logs, analyze root causes of complex software failures, and coordinate fixes with development and engineering teams.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain software stacks incorporating technologies such as AWS, Docker, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Apache NiFi.
• Participate in rotational after-hours on-call support as required to resolve urgent mission-critical incidents.
• Author and maintain standard operating procedures, technical guides, and knowledge-base documentation.
