Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer and engineer distributed Hadoop and Accumulo clusters in enterprise Linux environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized services using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Develop automation scripts and maintain infrastructure as code using Bash, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Ensure system observability, performance, and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenSearch.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $276k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability across large-scale distributed clusters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and cloud platform issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Administer, tune, and maintain Hadoop (HDFS, YARN) and Accumulo environments along with distributed storage systems.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Build and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments with Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Maintain observability and alerting frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenSearch.
• Perform Linux operating system patching, upgrades, and system hardening in accordance with security compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot networking configurations including VLANs, TCP/IP, and load balancers.
• Support storage architectures, data replication strategies, and disaster recovery operations.
