Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer Linux systems and manage large-scale cloud repositories running Hadoop and Accumulo.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance across cloud-based environments in real time.
• Troubleshoot complex system, network, and data flow issues to maintain data integrity.
• Automate operational tasks and configuration management using Bash, Python, and Puppet.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $276k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Monitor system health, performance, and alerts across distributed cloud environments.
• Support, patch, and maintain large-scale Hadoop and Accumulo clusters.
• Perform Linux systems administration, system patching, and configuration management with Puppet.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python.
• Administer user accounts, enforce access controls, and maintain system security compliance.
• Support storage systems and resolve hardware, network, and infrastructure issues with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide after-hours on-call operational support as required.
