Position: Supply Specialist

Type: Full-time

Location: Fort Bragg, NC

Travel: 10%

Position Summary: The Supply Specialist provides comprehensive supply, logistics, and property accountability support within the Battalion S4 (Logistics) Office. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing supply operations that support battalion readiness, training, and operational requirements. The Supply Specialist maintains accountability of government property, processes supply transactions, manages inventory records, coordinates equipment movement, and supports logistics planning to ensure timely availability of equipment, supplies, and services across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day supply and logistics support for Battalion S4 operations.
  • Maintain accountability of organizational, durable, expendable, and sensitive items.
  • Process supply requests, requisitions, receipts, turn-ins, lateral transfers, and property transactions.
  • Conduct inventories and reconcile property records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with hand receipt management, sub-hand receipt updates, and shortage annex documentation.
  • Monitor equipment status and coordinate redistribution of assets as required.
  • Maintain supply records, inventory databases, and logistics reports.
  • Coordinate with subordinate units and external supply activities to support mission requirements.
  • Receive, store, issue, and track supplies and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Support property accountability inspections, command inventories, and audit readiness activities.
  • Assist with maintenance of warehouse operations and storage facilities.
  • Track and manage sensitive items in accordance with Army accountability requirements.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and briefings related to supply and logistics operations.
  • Support field exercises, training events, deployments, and other operational requirements as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Army regulations, supply policies, and command logistics procedures.
  • Utilize automated logistics and supply management systems to process and maintain records.
  • Coordinate transportation and movement of equipment and supplies when required.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving supply discrepancies, shortages, and accountability issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment receipts, issues, adjustments, and disposition actions.
  • Provide responsive customer service and logistics support to battalion staff and subordinate units.


Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizen
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations, government facilities, and government information systems.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in military supply, logistics, property accountability, warehouse operations, or related logistics management functions.
  • Prior service as a 92A Automated Logistical Specialist, 92Y Unit Supply Specialist, equitable Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), or equitable civilian experience and/or certification who are subject matter experts on all aspects for warehouse logistical operations
  • Experience supporting Special Operations Forces, Special Forces training organizations, or large-scale field training exercises.
  • Familiarity with Army supply automation systems, property book procedures, and logistics reporting requirements.
  • Experience preparing for Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) inspections and property accountability audits.
  • Experience maintaining hand receipts, conducting inventories, and managing government property accountability.
  • Knowledge of Army supply policies, procedures, and accountability standards.
  • Experience working with Army property book, logistics, or supply management systems.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.


Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
