Position Summary: The Human Resources (HR) Specialist provides comprehensive personnel administration support for Special Forces training programs by managing the in-processing, personnel accountability, records management, and out-processing of Special Forces candidates and students. This position serves as a critical administrative resource, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of military personnel records while supporting candidate integration, training progression, reassignment actions, and separation processing in accordance with Department of the Army and local organizational requirements.

The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This position serves as a critical administrative resource, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of military personnel records while supporting candidate integration, training progression, reassignment actions, and separation processing in accordance with Department of the Army and local organizational requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct, manage, and execute all administrative in-processing and reception functions for 18X (Special Forces Candidate) accessions.
- Verify incoming personnel files, audit enlistment contracts, review medical readiness documentation, and establish master training record folders.
- Update emergency contact records, validate Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI) selections, and input personal data into mandatory Army personnel systems.
- Coordinate directly with SWTG(A) training companies to facilitate organized, efficient student integration, maintain 100% daily accountability of newly arrived candidates, and ensure full compliance with Department of the Army and local SWTG(A) administrative procedures.
- Conduct, manage, and execute comprehensive out-processing and administrative realignment functions for out-of-training (OOT) students.
- When students separate from the training pipeline due to medical, administrative, or performance-based disqualifications, the HR Specialists shall immediately initiate out-processing checklists, compile military evaluation records, and assemble administrative separation packets.
- Coordinate lateral transfers, update reassignment preferences, interface with training company leadership, and enter final status determinations into required Army automated personnel databases.
- Ensure that all out-of-training files remain audit-ready and transition seamlessly to global Army distribution systems or regional separation centers.
- Enter, retrieve, modify, and manage critical personnel data within required military human resources information systems.
- Maintain active operator proficiency and execute daily entries within the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A), the standard Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), the Total Officer Personnel Management Information System (TOPMIS), and local student database trackers.
- Ensure that all data entry remains highly accurate, protects Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974, and immediately resolves any administrative records mismatches or system transaction errors.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
- Minimum of three (3) years of civilian, contractor, or active-duty military human resources experience
- Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in military personnel administration, civilian office software suites, and standard military database navigation
- Undergo a favorable Tier 1 (T1) background investigation, and complete mandatory annual Cyber Awareness, Information Assurance, and PII protection training prior to receiving access to Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) or NIPRNet terminals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
