As one of the newest Chenega companies, Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) was developed with the purpose of providing expert Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal customers.
The Technical Exploitation Analyst supports the Intelligence Office in identifying, analyzing, and exploiting adversarial Unmanned Systems (UXS) and associated technologies. This position conducts technical analysis of hardware, software, communications systems, electronic components, and related equipment to support operational intelligence, threat assessments, targeting efforts, and counter-UXS operations. Working alongside intelligence professionals, engineers, and mission partners, the analyst translates technical findings into actionable intelligence products that help detect, understand, attribute, and defeat emerging threats. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical analytical skills, active TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to work onsite within the National Capital Region.
This role directly supports a high-priority national security mission focused on countering adversarial unmanned systems and enabling technologies across the homeland, forward theaters, and global threat networks.

Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis and exploitation of adversarial UXS platforms, components, payloads, communications systems, electronic devices, and associated technologies.
- Assist in the examination, characterization, documentation, and assessment of recovered or acquired UXS-related hardware, software, and supporting systems.
- Support technical exploitation activities including:
- Component identification and analysis
- Hardware and system characterization
- Software and firmware review
- Data extraction and forensic analysis
- Technical vulnerability assessments
- Exploitation reporting and documentation
- Analyze technical findings to support operational intelligence, threat assessments, targeting activities, and counter-UXS operations.
- Collaborate with intelligence analysts, engineers, systems analysts, network analysts, operational personnel, and mission partners to integrate technical findings into broader intelligence assessments.
- Assist in identifying emerging technologies, adversary capabilities, operational methods, and technical trends relevant to the UXS threat environment.
- Develop technical reports, intelligence updates, exploitation summaries, vulnerability assessments, and mission-support products.
- Maintain technical repositories, exploitation documentation, analytic references, and mission data related to adversarial UXS systems and supporting technologies.
- Support mission-driven research and analysis efforts focused on foreign unmanned systems and related enabling ecosystems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Intelligence Studies, Electronics, or a related technical field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Experience conducting technical analysis of hardware, software, communications systems, electronic components, networks, or emerging technologies.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary intelligence or technical teams.
- Ability to work onsite in Arlington or Alexandria, Virginia.
- Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Successfully pass background and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, federal law enforcement, or national security missions.
- Familiarity with unmanned systems (UAS/UAV), counter-UAS technologies, RF communications, sensors, payloads, electronic warfare, or related technologies.
- Experience with forensic tools, hardware analysis, software analysis, network analysis, or technical intelligence exploitation.
- Knowledge of adversary technology trends, threat analysis, and intelligence production processes.
- Familiarity with intelligence reporting, target support, or operational intelligence environments.
- Experience supporting technical exploitation laboratories or intelligence exploitation missions.)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding technical exploitation, digital forensics, reverse engineering, systems analysis, cyber analysis, or intelligence analysis methodologies.
- Ability to translate technical findings into concise, actionable intelligence products and reports.

- Knowledge of technical exploitation methodologies, digital forensics, and intelligence support processes.
- Knowledge of unmanned systems (UAS/UAV/UXS), counter-UXS operations, associated technologies, and adversary capabilities.
- Knowledge of hardware, software, firmware, electronic components, communications systems, RF technologies, sensors, payloads, and networking concepts.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, system vulnerabilities, and technical threat analysis.
- Ability to analyze and characterize UXS platforms, components, communications systems, software, and supporting technologies.
- Ability to conduct technical exploitation activities including component identification, hardware and software analysis, data extraction, and forensic examination.
- Ability to identify vulnerabilities, exploitation opportunities, emerging technologies, and technical trends relevant to the counter-UXS mission.
- Ability to collect, evaluate, and synthesize complex technical information into actionable intelligence products and assessments.
- Ability to develop technical reports, intelligence updates, exploitation summaries, vulnerability assessments, and briefings.
- Ability to integrate technical findings into operational intelligence, threat assessments, targeting support, and mission planning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with intelligence analysts, engineers, cyber professionals, operational personnel, and external mission partners.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
