Job Description
Position Title : Containerized Base Support Unit (CBSU) Maintenance Technician
Location : Camp Mackall, NC
Clearance required : SECRET
Scope of Work: Provides cleaning, restocking, plumbing, wastewater removal, and general maintenance for thirteen (13) containerized base support units at Camp Freedom and Freedom Village, Camp Mackall, supporting more than 5,500 service members annually.

Scope of Work: Provides cleaning, restocking, plumbing, wastewater removal, and general maintenance for thirteen (13) containerized base support units at Camp Freedom and Freedom Village, Camp Mackall, supporting more than 5,500 service members annually.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide comprehensive cleaning, restocking, plumbing support, wastewater removal, and general maintenance for the 13 containerized units, cleaning daily when a unit is actively in use.
- Inspect fire alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers, and shower curtains for operability and safety.
- Keep latrine, shower, and sink containers stocked with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, and procure consumables.
- Provide plumbing repair support within 12 hours of identification while the facility is occupied.
- Conduct wastewater removal at regular intervals, up to daily during heavy use.
- Provide general maintenance within 12 hours; obtain COR approval before repairs exceeding $200 per part or $2,000 per unit.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Skills in plumbing, general facility maintenance, and sanitation servicing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid state driver's license; ability to operate Government vehicles
- Microsoft Office familiarity
