Job Description
Position Title : Logis Senior Weapons Logistics and Maintenance SME (JAF/SWCS)
Location : Fort Bragg, NC
Clearance required : SECRET
Scope of Work: Provides advanced weapons maintenance, sustainment, training, and logistics support at the Joint Armament Facility, serving as technical subject matter expert and liaison for SOF-Peculiar, foreign, and non-standard weapons, including nondestructive inspection.

Scope of Work: Provides advanced weapons maintenance, sustainment, training, and logistics support at the Joint Armament Facility, serving as technical subject matter expert and liaison for SOF-Peculiar, foreign, and non-standard weapons, including nondestructive inspection.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and records; perform trend analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Operate GCSS-Army: process PM01, PM02, and PM06 work orders, maintain service schedules, and manage Class IX repair parts, Shop Stock, and Bench Stock per AR 710-2.
- Serve as technical liaison for weapons life cycle management and logistics support.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of weapons at field level and inspect and replace weapon components.
- Perform nondestructive inspection using Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic methods.
- Provide training on assembly, disassembly, maintenance, functioning, adjustments, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of weapons.
- Provide work-site reports, including production backlog, demands by MCN or NSN, and Equipment Status Reports.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- At least one (1) year (proficient) or three (3) years (expert, preferred) sustaining and repairing SOF-Peculiar foreign weapons and accessories
- Skills equal to Army MOS 91F or branch equivalent
- Completion of the USASOC SOF-P Weapons Repair Course and the Special Operations Foreign and Nonstandard Armorers Course, or willingness to obtain
- ASNT NDT Level II certification, or obtain Level II certification within 18 months of employment
- Knowledge of AR 750-1, AR 700-4, and DA PAM 750-8; working knowledge of TAMMS and GCSS-Army
