The Operations & Maintenance Support Analyst provides full-time onsite support at the Washington Navy Yard for senior leadership within Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Execution Industrial Operations (DPAE IO). This role manages incoming taskers, assigns them to the appropriate organizational activities, and tracks progress through completion to ensure timely and transparent execution. The analyst gathers operational information and maintenance-related data from Naval Shipyards, Regional Maintenance Centers, fleet stakeholders, and DPEA IO headquarters, turning that information into actionable insights for leadership. The position also assists in developing organizational plans, governance documentation, and process descriptions that clarify how DPAE IO operates and how essential information should be accessed and maintained. This position supports multiple government leaders and integrates into a multi-person team that provides operational continuity and analytical support across DPAE IO.

Required Skills and/or Experience:
- Minimum 5 years supporting an industrial, maintenance, shipyard, fleet, or RMC environment.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating tasks, actions, or operational workflows within a large technical organization.
- Experience gathering operational or maintenance-related information and translating it into meaningful insights or written products for senior leadership.
- Experience supporting senior leadership, headquarters staff, or program offices in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent taskers and maintain accountability of assigned actions.
Preferred Experience:
- 10+ years supporting Naval Shipyards, RMCs, or fleet maintenance organizations.
- Knowledge of shipyard or fleet maintenance processes, workflows, financial management or organizational structures.
- Experience developing governance documents, policies, process descriptions, or organizational guidance.
- Familiarity with NAVSEA, DPAE IO, or other depot-level maintenance entities.
- Experience working as part of a multi-person analyst team supporting headquarters operations.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex and/or urgent taskers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including preparing summaries, briefs, and status updates.
- Ability to analyze operational data and convert it into clear, actionable information for leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple government leaders.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, consistent with SHOE contract personnel standards.
- Must be a US Citizen
Degree Requirements:
- Bachelor's d egree in business, engineering, management, analytics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
