Job Description
Role Description:
Administer Oracle and Postgres databases
Debug Oracle and Postgres databases
Patch and upgrade Oracle and Postgres databases
Conduct performance tuning on Oracle and Postgres databases
Resolve issues with Oracle and Postgres databases
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of DBA experience.
Experience administering Oracle or Postgres databases (ideally both)
Experience with AWS/RDS/S3/DMS
Experience working with and debugging Oracle/Postgres databases
Experience with Oracle/Postgres database patching and upgrades
Experience conducting performance tuning on Oracle/Postgres databases
Experience with Oracle/Postgres database backup/recovery tools and techniques, such as Oracle RMAN and Flashback
Experience with restoring Oracle/Postgres databases
Experience configuring Oracle/Postgres databases to meet federal security guidelines
Experience identifying and resolving performance or availability issues in databases
Experience providing guidance and support to application developers in the creation and deployment of DML or DDL scripts in support of application maintenance or deployment
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requires TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000/yr (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
