InDev is seeking a ServiceNow Mobile App Developer to build, configure, and optimize native mobile experiences using the NOW platform’s mobile ecosystem (Now Mobile, Mobile Agent, and Mobile App Builder). In this role, you will configure out-of-the box mobile apps, build custom mobile applets, an integrate native device capabilities with core ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM). This position is flexible with after hours and weekend work if needed.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design & Configure: Build and customize mobile navigation bars, action bars, and applets using ServiceNow Mobile App Builder and Studio.


• Workflow Integration: Connect mobile workflows with ServiceNow modules like IT Service Management (ITSM) and Customer Service Management (CSM) for approvals, lists, and forms.


• Scripting & APIs: Extend mobile functionality using JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI policies, and RESTful web services.


• Testing & Optimization: Troubleshoot mobile performance bottlenecks, perform cross-platform testing (iOS and Android), and manage update sets.


• Collaboration: Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate operational needs into responsive, user-friendly mobile solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow with dedicated experience with mobile configuration.


• Experience with ServiceNow Mobile App Builder, Now Mobile, Mobile Agent app configurations, and App Engine Studio (AES).


• Experience with Mobile Studio for legacy configuration interfaces (e.g. mobile applets).


• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/JSON integrations, and Flow Designer.


• Understanding of Access Control Lists (ACLs), data models, update sets, and client scripts.

NICE TO HAVES

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).


• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).


• Completed ServiceNow Mobile Development Essentials learning path.
