Our Team is seeking a Systems Engineer, Senior to join our Team in Littleton, CO or Titusville, FL to help distill system-level qualification approach and requirements down to the subsystems as appropriate.

In this role you will:

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of system-level qualification requirements and their application to subsystems
• Facilitate communication and coordination between qualification stakeholders, including subsystem integrators and test teams
• Support the development of qualification plans, procedures, and strategies that meet program needs
• Identify and help resolve qualification-related issues and risks across the system and subsystems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure qualification activities are properly planned, executed, and documented

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

• Exceptional ability to communicate highly technical information to a variety of stakeholders, including government engineers and contractor leadership
• Familiarity with package hardware qualification
• Competency in reviewing design documentation
• Secret Clearance required prior to Start; US Citizenship required

Desired Skills

• Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes and one or more Systems Integration functions including:
  • System trade studies and/or System modeling
  • Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
  • System Integration, Test and/or Verification
  • Test planning and execution
  • Design review
• Working knowledge of the Trident II D5LE Missile
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
