Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects and program requirements in support of a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) program. The Project Manager will work closely with program leadership, technical teams, and Government stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with contract and customer requirements.

Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects and program requirements in support of a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) program. The Project Manager will work closely with program leadership, technical teams, and Government stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with contract and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects and program activities in a DoD/DISA environment.
- Coordinate with technical teams, program leadership, and Government stakeholders to track project activities and deliverables.
- Maintain project schedules, action item logs, status reports, risk and issue trackers, and other project documentation.
- Monitor project progress against established schedules, milestones, SLAs, KPIs, and contract requirements.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate concerns to program leadership as appropriate.
- Assist with resource planning, staffing coordination, task assignments, and project workload tracking.
- Facilitate project meetings, document meeting outcomes, and track action items through completion.
- Prepare project updates, dashboards, briefings, and other materials for internal and customer reviews.
- Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with technical and functional teams supporting infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, systems, applications, and IT service management activities.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives designed to improve project execution, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Work with corporate functions such as Contracts, Finance, Security, Recruiting, and Human Resources as needed to support program requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with established requirements and procedures.
- Support proposal activities, contract modifications, transition efforts, and other project initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of project management, project coordination, or related IT experience, preferably supporting DoD, DISA, or federal IT programs.
- Experience coordinating projects, schedules, deliverables, risks, issues, and customer requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, program leadership, and Government customers.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, ITSM, and/or ITIL methodologies.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management or collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification or progress toward PMP certification.
- Prior experience supporting DoD, DISA, or federal IT programs.
- ITIL certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity, RMF, DoD 8140/8570, and security compliance requirements.
- Experience preparing project schedules, status reports, dashboards, and customer briefings.
