About The Role
Peraton's Space Sector HR Team is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support multiple programs within our Federal Civilian portfolio, specifically across key Homeland/National Security programs. This role supports a geographically dispersed workforce of 500+ employees and partners closely with leaders across the business to deliver strategic, results-driven HR support.

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders across a large, dispersed client group to execute key HR activities including workforce planning, talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation reviews, leadership development, training, and engagement initiatives.
• Drive HR initiatives and projects, balancing multiple priorities while delivering on timeline commitments.
• Build strong, consultative relationships across HR Centers of Excellence and business stakeholders.
• Analyze workforce and organizational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.
• Guide leaders through complex employee relations issues, fostering positive employee and team dynamics.
• Manage confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.

Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of HR experience, with at least 10 years as a Human Resources Business Partner.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• Strong communication skills across all levels, with experience presenting to large groups and facilitating HR discussions with managers and employees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office tools.
• Must reside in the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC area.
• Ability and willingness to be onsite 4 days per week.
• Demonstrated ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
• Experience with Workday, iCIMS, PowerBI, or other Human Capital Management systems.
• Experience in the Defense industry, Unions, or Service Contract Act (SCA).
• Active or ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
