Description
The Leidos Health and Services Sector is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance web applications. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex business requirements into modular, robust frontend code.
CANDIDATES MUST:

Key Responsibilities
• Architect and implement responsive frontend applications using Angular (v20+) and TypeScript.
• Manage state efficient using modern practices (Signals, RxJS, or NgRx).
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, and load times for maximum speed and scalability.
• Build reusable components, custom directives, pipes, and modular feature architectures.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket services into client-side workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit testing frameworks (Vitest).
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of professional web development experience with a strong focus on Angular and TypeScript.
• Core Skills: Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), and RxJS asynchronous patterns.
• Architecture: Hands-on experience with state management, lazy loading, and component lifecycle hooks.
• Tools & Testing: Proficiency with Git, NPM/Yarn, Angular CLI, and frontend testing suites.
• API Integration: Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, CORS, and JSON web token (JWT) authentication.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Angular Signals and standalone components in modern Angular releases.
• Familiarity with Micro Frontend architectures and Server-Side Rendering (SSR/Angular Universal).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and cloud deployment (AWS).
• Understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and Section 508 standards.
• Backend development experience using Java
