Tria Federal is seeking a Senior Health Policy Analyst III to provide senior-level healthcare policy analysis and technical-writing support to BUMED N10D.
- Hybrid position: approximately 10% on-site / 90% remote
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Opportunity is contingent upon contract award
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Lead development and revision of complex Federal and military healthcare policies.
- Research Department-level, Navy, Marine Corps, BUMED, and Military Health System requirements.
- Support medical-readiness policy modernization across accessions/retention, DES/LIMDU, IMR, EDIS, suitability, deployability, and force health.
- Conduct policy gap analysis and enterprise alignment reviews.
- Draft complex instructions, memoranda, notices, Concepts of Operation, and procedural guidance.
- Support stakeholder adjudication and senior-level policy coordination.
- Develop implementation strategies and advise leadership on policy impacts.
- Support executive briefings and decision-support products.
- Assist with compliance tools, implementation plans, and enterprise distribution strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree required.
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive healthcare, Federal policy, military health, or readiness experience.
- Advanced technical-writing and policy-analysis skills.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC and required Government system access.
- Ability to independently perform complex policy assignments.
Preferred Experience and Background
- Navy Medicine or Military Health System policy experience.
- Knowledge of MANMED, BUMED instructions, DoD healthcare policy, and medical-readiness programs.
- Experience coordinating policy across multiple Government organizations and senior stakeholders.
