Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following type of duties: 1) Developing plans, programs, and policies to enhance international engagement and maritime security cooperation; 2) Coordinating and executing high-visibility international engagement events, such as symposia, conferences, and senior leader visits; 3) Managing resources for an international program, including budget processes and the use of official funds, to support mission objectives; and 4) Supervising a team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance on program execution. Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Requirement
This is a designated Security Cooperation (SC) position. In accordance with DoD Instruction 5132.15, "Implementation of the Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program," the selectee must meet and maintain all DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) certification requirements applicable to the duties of this position as a condition of employment.
Failure to obtain and maintain the required DoD SCW certification within the specified timeframes may subject the employee to adverse administrative action, up to and including removal from the position.

- You will lead the strategic planning effort for international engagement and develop contacts and networks to facilitate planning.
- You will be responsible for developing programs, projects, and policies that enhance maritime security and collaborative operations with international partner navies and naval services.
- You will plan, coordinate, resource, and execute the command's international engagement program, including high-visibility events like the Chief of Naval Operations' International Seapower Symposium.
- You will develop engagement strategies for U.S. maritime-partners in order to synchronize, plan, and prioritize international engagement.
- You will review, coordinate, and recommend policies, plans, and actions in the management of a multi-million-dollar international engagement strategy.
- You will apply analytical processes to link Navy and Navy Component Commander Theater Security objectives to supporting activities.
- You will lead and supervise a team, providing guidance and direction, monitoring performance, and overseeing the execution of international engagement efforts.
- You will maintain effective working relationships with others external to and within the command to coordinate protocol, security, logistics, and hospitality matters.
