PC Technician

New York, NY

Support mission-critical IT operations for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) by keeping systems running and users productive in high-responsibility environments.

What You Will Do

You will support day-to-day enterprise IT operations by:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware and software.
  • Supporting users onsite and remotely with technical and operational needs.
  • Deploying PCs, printers, and peripherals.
  • Configuring operating systems and installing applications.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and printer issues.
  • Coordinating repairs and collaborating across IT teams.
  • Managing and resolving support tickets through ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar tools.
  • Contributing to system improvements and operational reliability.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree ( or equivalent work experience ) in IT, Computer Science, or related field, with 4 years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles.
  • Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
  • Must have strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, and experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must be proficient in remote IT support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Office 365 environments.
  • Experience with Lexmark, HP, or Ricoh printer maintenance.
  • Prior USACE or DoD IT experience.
  • Military or Federal Government experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).

Your compensation is designed to make a real difference day to day, giving you the support and confidence to do your best work and live well outside of it.

The expected pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00 per hour . Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, certifications, clearance level, and alignment to mission requirements and work location. Allyon offers a comprehensive total rewards package including benefits, and retirement contributions.
