Position Overview
TSS/ESS Technician
Location: Lilongwe, Malawi, Bahrain, Manama and Lagos, Nigeria (traveling and lodging covered)
This position supports Fusion Enterprise Technical Security Systems (TSS) projects throughout the U.S. and OCONUS locations. We are seeking experienced Security Technicians who can install, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems in demanding project environments. Candidates should be comfortable with extensive travel, working independently or as part of a team, and supporting long-term OCONUS assignments.
- Experience with Technical Security Systems (TSS) installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- DOS/OBO NEC or NCC project experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with systems such as Genetec, Selectone, Inovonics, CCURE, iSTAR, Cinch Systems, and Software House.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting CCTV/IP-CCTV and HDVS systems.
- Knowledge of access control systems, including door contacts, electric strikes, magnetic locks, FEBR doors, and AES door controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot low-voltage electronics and circuitry.
- Experience with public address systems and associated installation/programming.
- Working knowledge of IP protocols and network connectivity.
- Fiber-optic experience, including termination, splicing, polishing, and OTDR operation, is preferred.
- Ability to read and work from construction drawings and schematics and assist with change orders and daily reporting.
- Onsite lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Telecom installation experience is a strong plus and may be utilized alongside TSS responsibilities.
- Candidates should be willing to learn new systems and obtain required certifications.
- Most Fusion projects require travel, including the ability to remain OCONUS for extended periods.
- Opportunities may be available as FTE or 1099, depending on project requirements.
