Job Description

Duties

  • Serves as the lead Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Temporary Emergency Power ACI contract
  • Advises the Emergency Management Chief and Subject Matter Experts on all aspects of ACI contracts.
  • Maintains effective surveillance of contracts to ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
  • Validates contractor invoicing against Daily Expenditure Reports and resolves any inaccuracies.
  • Processes funding requirements based on accepted contractor proposals and monitors contract funding during FEMA operations.
  • Serves as the Mission Manager-Contracting Officer Representative (MM-COR) Cadre Lead.
  • Develops and manages the budget for the TEMP ACI maintenance and management program.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires a valid driver's license
  • Incumbent will be required to remain readily accessible during potential emergency conditions to commence work quickly and to serve on 24hour call.
  • Response to disasters or emergencies will be within 6 hours of notification and being prepared to stay for a minimum of 30 days at a time.
  • Must possess skill to handle affairs while working in stressful environments.
  • Incumbent may be required to perform up to 20 percent or more temporary duty travel (TDY).
  • Incumbent is expected to be an active member of a Regional and / or National team involved in disaster / emergency response and / or recovery support.
  • Position is Mission Essential IAW DoDI 3020.42.

Specialized Experience : assisting with the management, coordination, and direction of an Emergency Operations Program; participate in disaster response activities in an Emergency Operations Center; and prepare briefings on disaster and emergency response.
