Job Description
Ghostrock, LLC , a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a recognized leader in Federal Government contracting, is seeking a Cable Manufacturing Quality Control Technician. This position is located in Charleston, SC.
Position Responsibilities:
Requires dedicated, prior hands-on quality control (QC) experience centered on parts inspection, cable assemblies, and process verification.
Must have an established background in hardware and cable fabrication QC.

While active formal certifications are preferred rather than a strict prerequisite, the ideal candidate should demonstrate practical familiarity with the following standards:

Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies
Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards (crimping, connectors, shielding, and harness routing).
Shipboard Electrical & Mechanical Install
Working knowledge of MIL-STD-2003 / NAVSEA Standard Item 009-73 installation methods.
Fiber Optic Assemblies
Familiarity with MIL-STD-2042 shipboard fiber topology, connector inspection, and handling.
Soldered Electrical Connections
Familiarity with J-STD-001 soldering and assembly acceptance criteria.
Quality Management Systems
Working experience operating within ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance and process control environments.

Core Job Duties & Technical Focus
- Parts & Assemblies: Physical inspection of discrete mechanical/electrical parts, cable harness assemblies, and connectors. Preferably some experience with assembling, inspecting or utilizing military C5ISR systems.
- Process Verification: Auditing standard operating procedures, logging defect metrics, and drafting non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Technical Proficiency: Blueprint/schematic interpretation, drawing verification, and use of standard calibrated mechanical/electrical measurement tools. Knowledge of or use of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software is a plus.

Position Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree
- Active Secret Clearance is required. The ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen along with the ability to maintain all required clearances.
