- Provide analytical support to install hardware and software on ships.
- Support installation planning for new construction ships, in-service ships receiving upgrades, and ships having systems removed and replaced during depot maintenance cycles.
- Review installation manuals and drawings.
- Participate in a variety of reviews and meetings, including PARM reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, and Interface Working Groups.
- Aid in preparing Combat System Certification documentation.
- Prepare SPM PARM Review briefing materials and participate in Installation Working Group meetings.
- Utilize knowledge of Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS) and Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) to execute required installation.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in installation supporting the USN.
- Experience managing updates to US Fleet missile installations to include Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM).
- Hands-on knowledge and experience to serve on the In-Service Installation planning team.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting Navy combat systems, C5ISR, or shipboard system installation and modernization programs.
- Maintain a comprehensive database tracking installation location, schedule and estimated and actual installation costs.
- Demonstrated ability to review engineering drawings, technical manuals, and installation documentation.
- Proven experience preparing technical briefings, supporting certification efforts, and participating in cross-functional technical review boards and working groups.
Salary Range: $50 hour - $68 hour
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
