Hoplite Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Systems Integration Engineer to support a lab environment for customers developing and testing experiments. This role will focus on installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will provide hands-on support for prototype application integration, lab environment operations, and customer testing efforts. You will support technical evaluation activities while helping ensure systems, applications, and infrastructure components are configured, integrated, and maintained effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security+ CE
• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering
• Experience in network or system administration
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
Desired Skills:
• Strong Linux experience
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management
• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure
• Experience setting up storage, such as network-attached storage
• Experience implementing security best practices, including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages such as Bash, Bourne, or C
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code products such as Terraform, SALT, and Ansible
• Experience with system monitoring platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS
