What You'll Do:

Manage and support LAN/WAN network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve network configuration, hardware, and software issues.
Support and administer network devices, routers, switches, and telecommunications hardware.
Assist with network deployment, upgrades, and modernization efforts.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement security protocols and optimize network performance.
Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in network administration, help desk, or field support roles.
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting tools.
Experience supporting enterprise network environments in government or similar settings.
Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and telecommunications equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with Cisco or other enterprise networking devices.
Knowledge of network security practices and protocols.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Security+.
Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools.
Experience supporting Windows Server environments and endpoint management.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Prior experience supporting federal government networks highly desired.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex network issues in a dynamic environment.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (or existing clearance).
May require occasional field deployment or support at remote sites.
Authorized to work in the United States.
