What You Will Be Doing

As the Industrial Engineer Level 2 you will be responsible for analyzing and designing sequences of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities, and establishing methods for maximum utilization of equipment and personnel.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Analyze and design operation sequences and workflow to enhance plant efficiency.
  • Develop and implement facility layout and equipment utilization plans for maximum productivity.
  • Establish accident-prevention measures and manage training programs for production personnel.
  • Conduct cost, inventory, and production-record studies and recommend cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with facilities engineers on planning and designing facility modifications.

Further Information About This Opportunity

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.


Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Systems Engineering experience
  • Fabrication or Production experience
  • Manufacturing Analyst experience

  • Basis of Estimates
  • Work Span Estimates
  • IMS
  • EVMS


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
