Position Summary
HgP is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial management and budget execution for USCP OIS/IRMD activities. The position will support budget preparation, procurement, payments, invoice validation, reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis while ensuring accurate financial information and adherence to established processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Support financial management and budget execution activities.
• Assist with budget preparation, procurement requests, payments, and contract closeout.
• Track budget status, expenditures, and financial performance.
• Validate invoices, perform reconciliations, and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and respond to financial inquiries.
• Analyze financial data, identify issues, and support corrective actions.
• Support monthly over/under burn and billing-period reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Coordinate with managers and project teams to support financial compliance and reporting.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of federal budget management and execution experience.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Federal financial certification and Tableau/statistical-tool experience preferred.
