Job Description

Markon is building a talent pool of Policy/Governance Analysts to support future Intelligence Community missions. This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified professionals to support the development, analysis, implementation, and governance of policies that enable mission and organizational objectives. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings requiring policy research, stakeholder coordination, leadership engagement, and development of guidance and training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, review, revision, and implementation of policies, directives, guidance, and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct research and analysis of existing policies, regulations, requirements, and emerging issues to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Evaluate policy impacts and develop recommendations to support organizational and mission priorities.
  • Prepare clear and concise policy documentation, leadership briefings, decision materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the Intelligence Community and other government organizations to support policy development and implementation.
  • Participate in and support Intelligence Community working groups, governance forums, and other collaborative activities.
  • Develop training materials, guidance, and communications to support awareness and implementation of policies and requirements.
  • Track policy actions, decisions, and requirements while supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.


Qualifications

Required:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Security Studies, Intelligence, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in policy development, policy analysis, governance, or a related function within the DoD or Intelligence Community
  • Experience researching, analyzing, and interpreting policies, regulations, and organizational requirements
  • Experience developing or revising policies, guidance, reports, or other governance documentation
  • Experience preparing briefings, presentations, or decision materials for leadership
  • Strong research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizations and stakeholder groups

Desired:
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community policy or governance initiatives
  • Experience participating in or supporting Intelligence Community working groups and governance forums
  • Experience developing training content, implementation guidance, or policy communications
  • Experience coordinating policy initiatives across multiple organizations and stakeholder groups


Salary Range

USD $105,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
