Job Description

Markon is building a talent pool of Quality Control Specialists to support future government and Intelligence Community missions. This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified professionals to support the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes for professional services programs. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings requiring quality assurance, deliverable reviews, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to ensure contract requirements and customer expectations are consistently met.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain program Quality Control (QC) Plans, processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Conduct quality reviews of program deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Track, analyze, and report quality metrics, trends, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct periodic quality audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with established processes and standards.
  • Identify quality issues and collaborate with program teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain quality records and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness and effective program oversight.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deliverable quality, consistency, and overall program performance.
  • Coordinate with program leadership, functional teams, and customer stakeholders on quality requirements and performance.


Qualifications

Required:
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; 5 years of quality assurance experience may substitute for a degree
  • 3+ years of experience in quality control and/or quality assurance within a professional services environment
  • Experience implementing or maintaining quality control plans, processes, and procedures
  • Experience conducting quality reviews of deliverables and performing periodic audits or assessments
  • Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting quality metrics and performance trends
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple quality priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment

Desired:
  • Experience supporting government or Intelligence Community professional services programs
  • Experience developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Experience supporting contract compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with quality management frameworks, standards, and industry best practices


Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
