In Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Role Summary
The team is responsible for overseeing environmental lab activities, coordinating vibration and shock test efforts, mentoring Hardware Engineering Teams in Structural Design best practices and develops dynamic test environments. The Structural Engineer is responsible for the mechanical architecture, structural integrity, and physical validation of complex hardware. This role focuses on ensuring that components and assemblies can withstand all anticipated operational loads-including static, dynamic, and environmental stresses-without failure. The engineer oversees the operation of vibration shaker tables and is responsible for the development and creation of customized vibration profiles to simulate real-world operational environments
The candidate will have experience with vibration testing, understanding of structural design best practices and be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., NX, Creo)
- Expertise in FEA software (e.g., Ansys)
- Strong foundation in classical mechanics of materials and structural dynamics
- Vibration and Shock testing Experience
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 test requirements and setups
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarity with industry-specific structural standards like MIL-STD-810
- Knowledge of designing for 3D printing or metal part fabrication (e.g. CNC)
- Knowledge of vibration and shock tables
- Experience with creating Test Procedures
