Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience: 1) managing logistics programs for assigned customers, 2) providing data for procurement planning, 3) liaison with logistics organizations on program management, AND 4) troubleshoot program changes to fulfill program requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Additional information
- Operational Sustainment activities in the field that directly impact Foreign Partners abilities to utilize US Army field weapon systems.
- Use regulations and authorities to execute Foreign Military Sales Programs, US Army Logistics and Supply Chains, and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation.
- Technical logistics advisor to foreign military counterparts (up to flag/general officer level) and the US Embassy Country Team.
- Negotiate competing maintenance and training schedules, operational priorities, and delivery timelines while mitigating cultural friction and Theater Commander Intent.
- Operate, independently, in forward, distributed, or semi-austere OCONUS environments without direct daily supervision.
- Establish local operating procedures for emergency parts expedition, air/seaport of debarkation customs clearance coordination, and surge operations during partner nation exercises or contingency escalations.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Subject to a mobility. You will be required to relocate based on management needs for the duration of employment in this or successor positions. You will not be required to move to a different geographic location more than once every three years.
- The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification requirements in the SC Functional Area (FA), SCW certification level: SC Foreign Military Sales and Financing (FA) Practitioner Level, within two years job entry.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time, within and outside the United States, (CONUS and OCONUS).
- This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position that require Acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced, within 4 years of job entry.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest. This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter.
- This position requires the a pre-employment and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 10 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
